Songwriter ~ Mandolin ~ Storyteller

Bee's journey with folk music began when she met the trio Peter Paul and Mary when they came through Corpus Christi Texas when Be was a small child. She remembers Mary picking her up and Peter snapping a photo.  But, she never got that one. Her appreciation for acoustic music continued into her teens as she listened to the music of Cat Stevens, James Taylor, and Neil Young. She began her own songwriting career at thirteen with a song that the Merry Go Round CD was named after. She began playing the mandolin after studying singing in India with Ambha Prasad of Mysore. She also discovered that it fit quite nicely on the back of her BMW motorcycle.  She has totally fallen in love with the mandolin after this and has been studying up on how to play better with others. She hopes you enjoy both her folk and chanting variations.

Bee was a member of SummerFly for three years before the group disbanded.
